Dragged down by slumping same-store sales, Jack in the Box Inc. posted a sharp drop in fiscal first quarter profit, the fast-food chain said Wednesday.

Uno files bankruptcy

Uno Restaurant Holdings Corporation, which operates 179 Uno Chicago Grill restaurants in 28 states, filed bankruptcy last week to “recapitalize the company and eliminate substantial debt.”

McGrath’s chain files Chapter 11

McGrath’s Fish House, a Northwest chain of seafood restaurants, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization.

The chain, founded by John McGrath in Salem in 1980, has 20 locations in six states, including one near Valley River Center in Eugene.

McCormick & Schmick’s 3Q revenues drop 18.8%
